Dave is a leading U.S. neobank and financial services innovator serving underserved Americans with accessible, transparent banking products. The company's flagship ExtraCash product provides members up to $500 in interest-free advances within minutes, helping people avoid overdraft fees and access liquidity faster.
You'll lead large-scale, cross-functional technical programs spanning product launches, platform modernization, operational tooling, and strategic infrastructure initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, Risk, and Compliance, requiring you to drive alignment across teams, navigate complexity, and deliver meaningful outcomes for members.
Key responsibilities include: leading complex programs from concept through execution; partnering with Product and Engineering leaders to define roadmaps and sequence priorities; coordinating execution across multiple engineering squads and partner teams; driving transformation initiatives involving process redesign, automation, system migrations, and third-party integrations; collaborating with Security, Infrastructure, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Analytics, and Operations teams; managing delivery with external vendors and financial partners; strengthening Agile delivery practices, CI/CD processes, and governance frameworks; providing clear communication to senior leadership on program health and risks; and mentoring TPMs and cross-functional partners.
You'll directly influence how quickly and effectively Dave brings new capabilities to market while scaling responsibly. Your work will improve the reliability, speed, and efficiency of systems powering member experiences across products, including upcoming BNPL offerings launching in 2026.
Required qualifications: BS or MS in Computer Science or related field; 8–12+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in agile, high-growth environments; proven track record bringing products or platforms from concept through launch; strong technical acumen across modern software systems (mobile, data pipelines, APIs, platform infrastructure); experience leading transformation initiatives; experience managing external vendors and strategic partners; hands-on experience with dashboards, analytics, and experimentation frameworks; strong communication skills translating technical and regulatory complexity into business recommendations; ability to influence across organizations without direct authority.
Bonus: fintech experience in banking, payments, lending, or credit; familiarity with LaunchDarkly, FullStory, Looker, Snowflake, and GCP; Agile, SAFe, or Project Management certifications.
