As a Product Onboarding Manager, you will own the end-to-end onboarding experience for the company's largest and most strategic customers, with a focus on transforming investment data for the platform. You'll become a trusted advisor for clients on data migration, mapping, and optimization across private equity, venture capital, commercial real estate, private credit, and other alternative investments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently manage communication with senior and executive customer stakeholders, leading scope and timeline negotiations
- Review, analyze, interpret, and transform complex financial datasets for platform import
- Advise strategic customers on optimal data structures for immediate onboarding and long-term platform performance
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex or high-risk onboarding engagements
- Identify and lead initiatives driving systemic change—process automation, tooling improvements, and structural team changes
- Mentor and coach junior Product Onboarding Managers on prioritization, risk assessment, and quality review
- Build strategic partnerships across Project Management, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
- Design and deploy AI-supported workflows for recurring activities (data mapping playbooks, migration reports, escalation summaries, handoff docs)
- Build scalable AI workflows that automate work across the team
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years in fields leveraging complex financial data (investment banking, management consulting, private markets operations, or related)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven success independently owning executive-level customer relationships and scope negotiations for enterprise/global accounts
- Experience designing and deploying AI workflows across multiple tools or data sources
- Track record identifying and resolving data-quality risk at scale, including secondary quality review
- Strong Microsoft Excel expertise with complex dataset management
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to influence and guide customer decisions at executive level
- Comfort in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments
- Preferred: scripting languages (SQL, Python, R) and data management tools
- Preferred: experience overseeing internal project teams with quality-assurance oversight
