Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion. The Connected Warfare team modernizes command and control systems for military forces, with products scaling rapidly in production.
As Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will own the manufacturing strategy and execution for one or more products in the Connected Warfare portfolio (Menace-I, Menace-X, Menace-T, TITAN, and future systems). You will build and mentor a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers while driving products from concept through prototype, pilot, and full-scale production.
Key responsibilities include: leading cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, system integration, and end-of-line testing; transitioning products to production with speed and first-time quality; providing daily sustaining support and real-time problem-solving for mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware issues; embedding design-for-manufacturing best practices during development; owning manufacturing documentation (MBOMs, work instructions, requirements); managing quality programs and vendor relationships; analyzing metrics for continuous improvement in cost, quality, and capacity; and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
You will collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and customer teams to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and scale production. The role requires both technical depth in hardware design and manufacturing processes, plus leadership capability to build and develop teams in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
