FINN, Germany's leading car subscription platform and a unicorn in the mobility sector, is seeking a Group Controller to lead financial reporting and business controlling at a critical growth stage.
You will own Group Management Reporting under both HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS standards, translating monthly and year-end closing accounts into clear, actionable insights for internal leadership, the board, shareholders, and banks. Your core responsibilities include:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Group Management Reporting covering P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, with detailed variance analysis against plan and clear business commentary.
• Conduct deep-dive financial analysis to identify performance deviations, cost and revenue drivers, and root causes. Partner directly with business owners to implement and track corrective initiatives.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner to leadership, translating complex financial data into clear recommendations that improve business steering and decision-making.
• Drive process and system improvements across the company—strengthening provisions processes, implementing analyses in LucaNet, enabling SAP-based cost center reporting—to enhance accuracy and transparency of monthly financials.
• Build and lead a small, high-performing Group Controlling team that plays a critical role in company-wide financial steering and reporting.
FINN is a fast-paced scale-up with over 400 colleagues from 40+ nations, operating in the high-growth mobility sector. The role offers direct responsibility and the opportunity to shape the company's financial infrastructure as it scales.
