Salary: USD 135,000 - 145,000 / annual
Pomelo Care is a virtual medical practice specializing in women's and children's healthcare, including pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause care. The company combines 24/7 clinical care with technology to identify risks early and deliver personalized care nationwide.
In this role, you will lead a team of advanced practice providers (APPs) delivering high-quality virtual maternity and infant care. Your core responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of APPs, ensuring delivery of evidence-based care focused on improving perinatal health outcomes.
- Monitor quality of care across the team, identify training gaps, and collaborate with learning and development to roll out trainings.
- Support the team in addressing care barriers identified by patients and clinicians.
- Hold the team accountable to clinical OKRs by incorporating QA findings and performance metrics into regular 1:1 feedback sessions.
- Provide frontline insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on care delivery and process improvement opportunities.
- Identify and support professional growth opportunities for team members.
- Participate in recruiting and interviewing for open APP positions.
- Manage onboarding of newly hired advanced practice providers.
- Collaborate with Market and Care Operations teams to optimize patient-centered care.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 12pm–8pm EST. The role is fully remote with occasional travel.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current unrestricted multi-state (compact) license as an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP, CNM, or WHNP)
- 5+ years of clinical experience in hospital and/or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Internet connectivity and ability to work remotely
- Willingness to travel occasionally (infrequent)
- Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism in maternal morbidity and mortality
- Comfort with multiple tech platforms and eagerness to advise on improvements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Phenomenal interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional engagement and ability to cultivate a highly accountable team with shared governance
- Preferred: Experience working with Medicaid populations
