Salary: USD 73,500 - 136,500 / annual

Mariana Oncology seeks an experienced Lab Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at the Watertown (100 Forge Rd) site, reporting to the Site Lead of Lab Operations within the G&A organization. Key responsibilities include: **Lab Operations & Management**: Oversee general lab cleanliness and organization; manage lab consumables including point-of-use setup, stocking, and purchasing; monitor and manage temperature-controlled storage with alert systems; manage vendors and lab services (gases, instrument service, vivarium, lab coats, dosimetry badges) including pricing negotiation and spend tracking; manage lab equipment lifecycle from procurement through installation, asset tracking, repairs, and preventative maintenance; coordinate lab IT requirements for new equipment and researcher requests; oversee lab support vendors; manage procurement and distribution of laboratory gases; respond to researcher questions and concerns. **Facility Management**: Collaborate with the Office Manager on facility upkeep and smooth operations; manage lab-facing facility maintenance including house systems and vendor selection for repairs; oversee lab shipping and receiving; source and manage vendors for miscellaneous facility work. **Laboratory Safety**: Uphold safety standards in collaboration with safety consultants; ensure appropriate training and compliance of lab staff; maintain safety standards; interface with onsite HSE to address lab safety concerns collaboratively and efficiently. **Research Compound Management**: Oversee the Research Compound Management service; manage contract personnel developing processes for compound inventory and fulfillment; ensure appropriate procedures are implemented with the compound manager and research team. **Additional Projects**: Involvement in lab-facing initiatives such as Electronic Lab Notebook management and lab data management as interest and time permit. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline - 5-7+ years of experience in operations within a lab setting - Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills - Ability to work independently and drive projects forward - Excellent verbal and written communication - Problem-solving ability in creative and effective ways - Ability to interface with diverse stakeholders (researchers, management) to reach consensus on issue resolution
