The KYC Services Analyst role supports Private Investment firms' Know Your Customer screening processes, facilitating loan closings, counterparty onboarding, and ongoing compliance refreshes. Reporting to the Managing Director of KYC, this position is central to helping sophisticated financial institutions streamline their compliance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing KYC screening and onboarding activities in accordance with customer-specific compliance playbooks
- Building and maintaining relationships with Private Investment firms, learning their policies and operational workflows
- Engaging directly with customers and counterparties to collect information, answer compliance questions, and ensure responsive service delivery
- Managing high-volume KYC requests with meticulous attention to detail, including document collection, questionnaire responses, and stakeholder coordination
- Maintaining professional, polished external communications that represent Ontra's commitment to service quality
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of KYC professional or paralegal experience, preferably from banking or private equity fund backgrounds. Strong customer orientation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure are essential. The role is fully remote but prioritizes candidates in US Eastern and Central Time Zones.
