Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, and Uber. As a Knowledge Management Specialist based in London, you'll build the organizational knowledge infrastructure that enables teams to make better decisions and deliver consistent customer experiences.
You'll translate complex operational, fraud, disputes, compliance, and regulatory processes into clear, user-friendly knowledge assets including articles, video guides, process flows, and FAQs. Working closely with Subject Matter Experts, Process Architects, and cross-functional teams across Operations, Product, Compliance, Legal, and Training, you'll rapidly capture and publish knowledge as new workflows launch, keeping pace with a fast-moving product roadmap.
Key responsibilities include: creating and maintaining knowledge assets for frontline and specialist teams; acting as the knowledge liaison between multiple departments to ensure content reflects evolving regulatory requirements and product changes; tracking and analyzing knowledge base performance metrics to identify gaps and improvement opportunities; and maintaining taxonomy and tagging standards for content findability and AI/assistant integration.
You'll need hands-on experience with knowledge platforms (Confluence, Zendesk, Notion), a background in knowledge management, content creation, L&D, or instructional design, and the ability to work comfortably with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to simplify complex processes and collaborate effectively with SMEs. Experience in high-growth fintech, understanding of KM metrics and reporting, and familiarity with workflow automation or AI-assisted content creation are valued. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days per week in the London office.
