Nivoda is a global B2B marketplace for the jewelry and diamond industry. As a Jewellery Product Development Executive, you will manage the complete lifecycle of jewelry collections, acting as the bridge between CAD designers, merchant teams, and factory floor operations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Order Execution & Coordination: Manage end-to-end order timelines, raise CADs and purchase orders with manufacturers, review CAD files, calculate quotations, and coordinate with QC and logistics partners while maintaining real-time visibility of order status.
• Exception Handling & Escalations: Handle remakes, repairs, resizing, and order modifications with a structured, process-driven approach. Own escalations end-to-end and document every exception to prevent recurrence.
• Design Team & Factory Coordination: Coordinate daily with CAD designers and partner factories to ensure structural integrity, correct prong/setting specifications, and manufacturing feasibility before mass production.
• Costing & Estimation: Calculate highly accurate product costing, compare and lock pricing from factories with the master product list, and flag inappropriate pricing.
• Data & System Management: Manage comprehensive digital inventory, Bills of Materials (BOM), CAD libraries, and technical product specifications within ERP and marketplace platforms.
Required qualifications:
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Product Development, Production, or Merchandising within fine jewelry manufacturing
• In-depth technical understanding of gold/platinum metallurgy, diamond assorting, wax finishing, shrinkage, and international hallmarking standards
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong MS Excel proficiency and jewelry ERP software experience
• Strong cross-functional communication and 100% ownership mindset
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple concurrent priorities
• Proactive problem-solving approach with clear written and verbal communication
Desirable qualifications include automation tools experience (Google Apps Script), platform-based order management or ERP systems familiarity, early-stage environment experience, SEEPZ export ecosystem knowledge, jewelry manufacturing/design/gemology credentials (GIA, IIG, IGI), 3D CAD software proficiency (Rhino, Matrix, MatrixGold), and lab-grown diamond or US/EU B2B e-commerce experience.
Success metrics include on-time delivery of market-ready prototypes and samples, first-time-right accuracy with minimal design revisions and zero quality rejections, swift exception resolution, and profitable, scalable costing that maintains target margins.
