As IT Team Leader, you'll lead the IT function and manage the full employee IT lifecycle in a modern, cloud-first environment. You'll provide friendly, proactive technical support to the entire team, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure colleagues have the right equipment and knowledge to excel. Beyond reactive support, you'll identify opportunities to improve IT systems and processes, serving as a third-level support function and Subject Matter Expert to the IT Service team.
Key responsibilities include managing daily support tasks while contributing to long-term IT projects, mentoring team members to develop into SMEs, identifying bottlenecks before they arise, and streamlining ticket resolutions. You'll work with modern cloud-first technologies including identity and device management (SSO, MDM platforms like Jamf and Intune, Google Workspace), infrastructure tools (networking, AV systems, cloud telephony), and service desk platforms (Zendesk, Atlassian/JIRA).
You'll need 3+ years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to support both macOS and Windows in business environments. Exceptional communication skills are essential—you'll explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues at all levels. You're proactive, collaborative, comfortable working autonomously, and genuinely passionate about technology and continuous learning. Networking knowledge is advantageous but not required.
