First Due is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join its growing Corporate IT team as a hands-on individual contributor. You will own day-to-day administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and core identity infrastructure, while actively contributing to the helpdesk ticket queue. As the senior technical resource, you'll handle complex escalations and mentor teammates to raise overall team capability.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining PowerShell and Graph API scripts to automate onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning workflows. You'll identify manual IT processes and reduce operational toil through scripting and workflow automation tools like Power Automate. A near-term priority is systematically onboarding the SaaS portfolio to SSO via Entra ID and building reliable, auditable access provisioning automation.
You'll own and expand the SSO integration program by evaluating existing SaaS applications, prioritizing SAML/OIDC integrations via Entra ID, and implementing automated provisioning/deprovisioning workflows using SCIM where supported. You'll maintain a comprehensive SaaS application catalog tracking ownership, license counts, renewal dates, and SSO/MFA status across the organization's tool portfolio.
Working closely with the Director of Corporate IT, you'll contribute to strategic initiatives including identity and access management, endpoint security, and compliance readiness. This is a high-ownership role with real visibility across the organization, combining hands-on technical work with strategic infrastructure improvements.
