Anthropic is hiring an IT Support Engineer to build and lead a dedicated executive support function within IT. This is a foundational role that will define white-glove support for executives, administrative business partners (ABPs), and board members from the ground up. You'll own the full lifecycle of executive technology needs: designing the support model, creating intake channels and runbooks, establishing SLAs, and delivering service with discretion and polish. Responsibilities include standing up executive support intake channels, designing and delivering board-meeting AV support playbooks, creating runbooks and processes, building trusted relationships with ABPs and executive staff, handling escalations calmly, establishing board member device and access setup, working the shared SF Core ticket queue, and maintaining regular on-site presence. The role requires 7+ years of IT support experience with 3+ years in executive support. You should have a track record of standing up services from scratch (executive support desks, VIP functions, white-glove services), supporting executives and boards to high standards, and handling sensitive requests with sound judgment and discretion. Strong hands-on IT fundamentals are essential: macOS-primary fleets, identity and access, SaaS troubleshooting, and hardware lifecycle management. AV fluency for executive rooms and board meetings is required—you can set up, verify, and troubleshoot under time pressure. You thrive with composure under urgent escalations, take pride in service quality, maintain a security-first mindset, and are comfortable with ambiguity while shaping processes. You document everything: runbooks, KB articles, and status updates. Nice-to-haves include C-suite or board support experience at security/compliance-heavy companies, advanced AV skills (broadcast, live events, room design), experience building runbooks and support automation, and familiarity with AI/ML research environments.
