As IT Specialist, you will own IT operations end-to-end for a growing startup team. This is a hands-on role where you'll have real autonomy and direct impact on how systems evolve. You'll work closely with the security team, ensuring IT infrastructure supports both operational needs and security best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage device fleet: provisioning, patching, inventory, and end-user support
- Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and security hygiene
- Operate AV systems for meetings and events; manage vendor relationships
- Handle core sysadmin work: user accounts, permissions, backups, system monitoring
- Assist with HVAC system management and vendor coordination
- Partner with security on endpoint protection, access controls, and policy implementation
- Serve as primary IT support contact, troubleshooting independently
The role is based at the Union Square office in NYC. The company operates around live sports events, which may require occasional nights and weekends.
