Salary: USD 171,000 - 211,000 / annual
Anyscale is seeking an IT Engineer to own and scale the company's IT function as it grows. This is a hands-on engineering role reporting to the Head of Security and IT, blending software development with infrastructure and identity management.
You will own identity and access management, administering Okta, Google Workspace, 1Password Enterprise, and passkeys. You'll design and maintain internal automation services that integrate with directory and hardware systems, owning the codebase and GitHub repositories. You'll manage the macOS endpoint fleet through mobile device management, including device trust posture checks and endpoint detection/response tooling.
Hardware logistics fall under your purview: procurement, global shipping coordination, inventory management, and recycling. You'll also manage the SaaS vendor catalog, handle purchase requests, drive renewals, and support audit evidence collection and control design for internal and external compliance.
The role is split roughly 50/50 between software engineering (automation services, provisioning/deprovisioning) and infrastructure/operations (identity, endpoints, hardware, vendor management). You'll support a company of ~200 people, nearly half engineers, across three public clouds.
Required: strong hands-on Okta and Google Workspace administration; macOS fleet management via MDM; identity lifecycle automation from HRIS; proven track record owning IT hardware logistics and SaaS management; familiarity with audit evidence production.

Based in San Francisco on a hybrid schedule.
