Office Hours is hiring its first dedicated IT Operations Lead to own all systems, devices, and access infrastructure for a 60-person hyper-growth marketplace connecting organizations with expert networks. This is a hands-on, autonomous role covering end-user support, Mac fleet management via MDM, Google Workspace and identity provider (Okta) administration, SaaS stack management, office infrastructure across San Francisco and New York locations, and security operations aligned with compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include: serving as first point of contact for IT issues; procuring, deploying, and tracking hardware; administering identity and access management with regular access reviews; evaluating and managing the vendor/SaaS tool stack with focus on cost optimization; maintaining network, connectivity, printers, and AV across distributed offices; executing technical onboarding and offboarding; implementing security configurations; and building scalable runbooks and automation.
A significant component is owning the AI tool stack—administration, licensing, usage visibility, and driving adoption across the non-technical organization. You'll advise leadership on AI tooling decisions, help teams use these tools effectively, and maintain clear opinions on what works.
You'll be the first person in this seat at a well-funded, profitable company backed by top marketplace investors (DoorDash, Airbnb, Affirm operators). The role offers independence to set priorities, build processes, and be the trusted owner of company infrastructure as Office Hours scales across San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Bangalore.
