AgentSync is a venture-backed SaaS company (raised $161M from Craft Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, Marc Benioff) focused on making compliance easier for regulated industries. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Denver, the company is scaling rapidly and building out its IT Operations practice.
As IT Operations Engineer, you will own the identity, endpoint, and SaaS infrastructure that enables AgentSync employees to work effectively. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic infrastructure work with tactical support, replacing manual processes with automation and establishing durable foundations.
Key responsibilities include:
**Identity & Access Management**: Mature the Okta identity provider, implementing SSO/SAML/OIDC integrations, SCIM provisioning, lifecycle management, and least-privilege RBAC across the SaaS estate. Build IAM foundations that scale with the company—automated joiner/mover/leaver workflows, access reviews, and audit-ready processes.
**Endpoint Management**: Design and scale the macOS endpoint program in JAMF, including zero-touch provisioning, patching, configuration profiles, and compliance baselines. Develop a roadmap toward MDM maturity.
**Automation & Workflow**: Automate manual IT workflows through scripting and integrations so onboarding, offboarding, and access requests are repeatable and documented rather than tribal knowledge.
**Metrics & Reporting**: Define and track KPIs measuring IT Operations effectiveness—response/resolution times, provisioning cycle time, patch and MDM compliance, license utilization—and use data to drive investment decisions.
**Project Leadership**: Lead IT projects end-to-end with evolving requirements, framing problems, planning phases, sequencing work, communicating timelines, and delivering results.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**: Partner with Security and Compliance on SOC 2 evidence collection, access reviews, and audit readiness. Troubleshoot escalated issues across identity, networking, endpoints, and SaaS applications. Support employees with genuine customer service while preventing repeat issues.
**Platform Administration**: Administer ticketing and collaboration platforms to ensure requests are routed, tracked, and measured.
You'll balance a heavy queue of competing requests and incidents while maintaining focus on long-term strategic projects. This role requires someone who can take loose problem statements to production, work comfortably in a fast-moving startup environment, and set the standard for internal IT support.
