As IT Manager, you will own the day-to-day operations of Pave's IT function, ensuring operational stability, security, and compliance across the organization. You'll manage core IT platforms including Google Workspace, Okta, and Iru, supporting a global distributed workforce across San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City, the United Kingdom, and Poland.
Key responsibilities include:
**IT Operations & Platform Management:** Own and maintain core IT platforms, manage identity and access administration (provisioning, deactivation, permissions, device management), serve as the go-to technical expert for resolving business issues, support AV equipment across offices including conference rooms and all-hands meetings, monitor system health and security posture.
**Team Leadership:** Manage one IT FTE based in the SF office, providing day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance feedback. Set priorities and balance reactive support needs with planned project work.
**Security & Compliance:** Partner with the Security team on access controls, audits, and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001). Maintain security best practices across endpoints, identity systems, and IT-owned infrastructure.
**Vendor & Budget Management:** Own relationships with CDW (primary hardware supplier and SaaS channel partner) and other IT vendors. Manage the IT budget including software licensing and hardware procurement.
**Cross-Functional Support:** Support Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, People Operations, and R&D teams with the technology needed to do their jobs. Identify opportunities to bring AI tools and automation into IT operations and internal processes.
