Rho is a modern banking platform built for startups, offering account opening, card issuance, expense management, bill payment, and financial close capabilities in a single integrated platform. The company is seeking an IT Engineer to serve as the technology backbone for their San Francisco office and distributed team.
In this hands-on role, you will be the primary point of contact for all employee IT support, handling hardware, software, access, and troubleshooting with a focus on fast, friendly resolution. You'll own the complete device lifecycle management across macOS and Windows environments, including procurement, provisioning, mobile device management (MDM), and secure offboarding processes.
Key responsibilities include administering core identity and SaaS systems such as SSO, Google Workspace, and Slack, managing user access during onboarding and offboarding. You'll oversee the NYC office's IT infrastructure, including networking, audiovisual systems, conference room technology, and on-site hardware. Building and documenting IT processes, runbooks, and self-service resources that scale with company growth is essential to the role.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Security, People, and Finance teams on access controls, compliance, and asset management. Leading IT onboarding for new hires and ensuring a seamless day-one experience is a core part of the position.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of IT support or IT operations experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You need hands-on expertise administering macOS and Windows, MDM tools, and identity/SSO platforms, with strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and common SaaS administration. Experience managing office IT infrastructure is essential. You should be an excellent troubleshooter with a customer-service mindset and strong communication skills for documenting processes and supporting non-technical teammates. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 5 days per week presence in the SF office.
