Salary: USD 121,500 - 178,000 / annual
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and 2x cheaper. The company combines advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to reinvent American production of critical defense and aerospace components. Hadrian is expanding rapidly with Factory 3 launching in Mesa, Arizona, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model.
As an IT Engineer, you will own a portfolio of on-premises and SaaS platforms end-to-end, treating infrastructure as code and automating operational workflows. You'll act as program owner for assigned systems, managing configuration, security posture, lifecycle, and roadmap. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible, designing GitOps workflows with pull requests and CI/CD pipelines, and writing production-quality automation in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to eliminate manual work.
You will own SaaS license management across the full stack—procurement, provisioning, deprovisioning, utilization reporting, and cost optimization. You'll also own the joiner/mover/leaver workflow layer across managed platforms in coordination with HR and IT operations, built as automated pipelines. You'll identify recurring manual work and build automation or self-service tooling to remove it permanently, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure security baselines aligned to CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171.
Required: 5+ years enterprise IT experience with SaaS administration focus, demonstrated Infrastructure as Code and GitOps expertise, strong scripting proficiency in Python/Bash with production-quality tooling track record, SaaS license management program ownership, proactive builder mindset, and familiarity with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST 800-171, SOC 2). Experience with CAD/CAM platforms, ITAR compliance, REST APIs, software engineering background, or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments is a plus.
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required due to ITAR regulations.
