The flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a 3D model of coronary arteries to help clinicians assess blood flow blockages. The company serves over 750,000 patients globally and operates in regulated markets including the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada.
As IT Director and Salesforce Platform Owner, you will own the vision, roadmap, and governance of HeartFlow's Salesforce ecosystem, serving as the executive liaison between IT and the business. The Salesforce platform supports over 500 users across Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Production, and Quality Systems. This role requires balancing rapid execution on revenue-facing priorities with strict compliance and data integrity standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Chairing the Enterprise Salesforce Steering Committee and acting as product owner, prioritizing investments based on business value, compliance obligations, and ROI while communicating trade-offs transparently to stakeholders.
• Serving as the primary IT contact for department heads, leading discovery sessions to understand workflows and translating them into clear business requirements and user stories.
• Partnering with IT development and platform teams to hand off groomed requirements for execution in an Agile/Scrum model, staying engaged through delivery.
• Auditing commercial and clinical workflows to identify bottlenecks and manual workarounds, championing adoption, leading User Acceptance Testing, and driving change management for new releases.
• Enforcing Master Data Management practices and ensuring Salesforce (front office) and NetSuite (back office) integration to prevent data silos and reconciliation gaps.
• Ensuring platform changes follow HeartFlow's change control, SOX, and quality system requirements, partnering with Quality and InfoSec on validation and access governance.
Requirements:
• 8-10+ years in Enterprise Applications, Business Systems, or RevOps, including 3+ years in a Director-level or strategic Product Owner/Business Partner role.
• Strong functional and architectural understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud required; CPQ, Health Cloud, or Revenue Cloud a significant plus).
• Exceptional communicator with a track record of resolving conflicting priorities and building consensus across departments with different incentives.
• Life Sciences, MedTech, Biotech, or regulated public company environment experience (SOX, HIPAA, FDA, quality systems) strongly preferred.
• Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum and ability to translate ambiguous business needs into deliverables for IT development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
