Salary: USD 48,750 - 81,250 / annual
Ivalua, a leading global provider of cloud-based procurement and spend management solutions, is seeking an IT Desktop Support Administrator for its Pittsburgh, PA office. This role combines local IT support with global endpoint management responsibilities.
You will serve as the primary U.S. relay for Ivalua's global Microsoft Intune endpoint management environment, collaborating closely with IT teams in EMEA and APAC regions. The position reports to the Manager, IT in AMER and is part of the global IT Infrastructure & Support Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Intune & Endpoint Management (US Relay):
- Serve as the local U.S. subject matter expert for Microsoft Intune deployment, administration, and policy management on Windows 11 systems
- Manage application packaging, deployment, and system updates across the desktop environment
- Configure and troubleshoot PCs, drivers, system updates, and printer integrations
- Partner with global desktop engineers and administrators in EMEA and APAC to maintain global workstation standards
Local Office & User Support (Pittsburgh Office):
- Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, hardware provisioning, and initial IT training
- Handle end-to-end IT support requests including troubleshooting laptops, software, hardware accessories, and user account issues
- Oversee IT equipment installation, maintenance, lifecycle management, patching, and inventory tracking
- Provide hands-on setup, maintenance, and user support for office meeting room audio/visual systems
Network & Security Collaboration:
- Administer user access rights and identity management following the principle of least privilege
- Manage physical office access control systems (keycards/badges) and digital access permissions
- Act as the Pittsburgh local point of contact for LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure support
- Serve as the local IT Security contact, upholding security policies and collaborating with the Infosec team on threat analysis and remediation
The role operates on a hybrid model with 3 days in the office per week. You will work independently in a local office setting while communicating and collaborating effectively across global departments and time zones.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR Master's degree in relevant field with minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune in a Windows 11 environment, including application packaging, configuration profiles, and deployment
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration (Google Admin Console, user provisioning, group management, security settings, Gmail/Drive/Meet support)
- Application packaging, driver deployment, and printer management expertise
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD / Microsoft 365 cloud solutions, and network fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi, command line/scripting tools)
- Good computer and network security awareness
- Strong customer-first approach with excellent problem-solving ability and flexibility
- Self-motivated and autonomous with strong initiative to drive local projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with empathetic approach to solving user problems
- Ability to work seamlessly across diverse teams and global offices with differing time zones
- Skill in balancing urgent local end-user support with longer-term global infrastructure projects
- Clear oral and written communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
- Professional certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator Certification, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, A+, or Network+
- Familiarity with PowerShell, GAM (Google Admin Management), or CLI scripting
- Prior experience managing office physical access control platforms or collaborating with global security and IT teams
