Apex.AI, a venture-backed software company specializing in safety-certified, developer-friendly software for autonomous mobility systems, is seeking an IT Administrator to own the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of its IT environment in Germany while supporting international teams.
This is a hands-on role combining infrastructure management, user support, and security operations. You will be the key point of contact for IT topics in the Munich office, working closely with Engineering, DevOps, HR, and other business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on IT Administration: Own and manage the day-to-day operation of cloud and on-premises IT environments. Administer and support Linux and macOS endpoints throughout their lifecycle. Manage MDM, IAM, user accounts, permissions, SSO, and MFA. Administer cloud-based email, collaboration, and file-storage services. Manage employee access across internal systems and business applications. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks. Manage VPN solutions, network segmentation, policies, and access rules. Administer and maintain on-premises and cloud-based servers. Manage endpoint security solutions, including EDR/antivirus, patching, encryption, and security policies. Implement and maintain integrations between different IT systems. Automate repetitive IT administration tasks wherever possible. Monitor systems and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
IT Support & Service Delivery: Provide responsive first and second-level support to employees. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Manage IT ticketing systems and maintain clear communication with users. Document processes and maintain IT knowledge bases.
Security & Compliance: Develop knowledge of Information Security and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001 and TISAX. Implement security best practices and policies. Support compliance audits and assessments. Previous compliance experience is welcome but not required—the company is looking for someone interested in learning and growing in this area.

Requirements:
- Authorization to work in Germany is required.
- Hands-on experience administering Linux and macOS endpoints.
- Experience with cloud services, identity and access management (IAM), MDM, and network administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security tooling and endpoint protection solutions.
- Interest in learning Information Security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, TISAX).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
