Salary: USD 155,000 - 210,000 / annual
Terran Orbital, a leading satellite manufacturer serving aerospace and defense industries, is seeking an experienced IPT Lead for Electrical Power Systems (EPS) Module Manufacturing. Reporting to the Product Director of EPS, you will oversee end-to-end battery pack production with accountability for quality and on-time delivery.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of technicians and manufacturing engineers, driving process improvements across material handling, production line optimization, and test management. Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing 6S improvements, collaborating with cross-functional leadership on material ordering and planning, working with quality teams on control improvements and non-conformance disposition, and mentoring engineering staff on manufacturing standards and regulatory compliance.
You will develop and maintain production reporting dashboards tracking material, deliveries, and yield rates, demonstrating improvements over time. You'll support new product introductions and pilot builds by establishing repeatable processes and clear documentation.
The role operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing facility. You will routinely use standard office equipment and manufacturing software, with substantial computer usage. Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods, occasional bending and reaching, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years' experience in manufacturing environments developing build procedures
- At least 2 years' experience managing manufacturing teams
- Experience with welding equipment regarding battery pack production and safety
- Experience implementing 6S process improvements
- Experience reporting on key production metrics to leadership and developing dashboard trackers
- Experience with manufacturing software such as AEGIS or Manufacturo, as well as MES and ERP tools
- U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations
- May require current United States National Security clearance or eligibility for such clearance
