As Investment Operations Lead, you'll own the full operational lifecycle of member investment accounts—from application submission through funding, investing, rebalancing, and all account movements. You'll be a subject matter expert across at least three of four core functions: Trading, Transfers, Account Lifecycle, and Investment Experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as SME and second approver on work by Associates and Specialists, catching issues before they reach member accounts
- Train and mentor at least three teammates, helping shape how the team builds competence
- Drive end-to-end automation and process improvements independently
- Connect daily operations work to Range's firm goals and flag where operations must evolve
- Act as licensed point of contact for members and escalation resource
- Work closely with the broader investments team on portfolio modeling and investment management
You'll report to the Head of Investment Operations and work directly with members and Certified Financial Planners. This is an individual contributor role today with growth into team management as Range scales.
Required qualifications: 8-10+ years in investment operations, brokerage operations, or comparable financial services; demonstrated mentoring and process-building experience; deep familiarity with custodial/clearing platforms and brokerage workflows; track record of shipping improvements independently; Series 24 license required. FinTech, RIA, or broker-dealer experience is a plus.
The role is based in New York City (preferred) or McLean, VA headquarters, with Monday-Friday in-office collaboration.
