You will manage and develop a team of 8 Inventory Operations specialists spanning flights, ground transportation, and stays. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be hands-on while leading the team—diagnosing complex supplier, GDS, and content issues yourself, prototyping fixes, and setting the technical bar others work toward. Key responsibilities include: - Lead, coach, and grow the team of 8 specialists across three verticals, setting individual growth plans and running performance conversations - Dedicate meaningful time to IC-level work, staying credible as a technical partner who can step into detail when needed - Identify operational inconsistencies across flights, ground transportation, and stays; build standards, tooling, and processes to bring all three to the same reliability level - Define operational standards and governance frameworks that reduce routine workload and increase reliability - Use data strategically to guide team priorities, define success metrics, and translate insights into recommendations for senior stakeholders - Own the narrative for senior leadership, connecting operational outcomes to business goals - Champion AI-first thinking across the team's workflows, coaching specialists on AI-assisted approaches You'll report to the Director of Operations and be accountable for day-to-day team operations and the quality and reliability of inventory content. Required qualifications: - Experience managing or leading a team (formal or informal) with a track record of developing people and improving team operations - Solid working knowledge of travel inventory systems, GDS/NDC content, booking flows, supplier APIs, or similar backend systems - 4+ years in operations, travel technology, or supplier management, owning workflows end to end - Strategic thinking that connects operational work to business outcomes - Proven ability to design frameworks and standards that scale - Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Perk operates on an IRL-first model with 3 days per week in-office. The role requires being based within commuting distance of Barcelona. The company supports relocation from anywhere globally. English is the official office language.
