xAI is seeking an Inventory Analyst to support supercomputer and data center operations. In this role, you will manage inventory for high-value infrastructure including servers, GPUs, networking equipment, power and cooling components, and critical spare parts. You will analyze inventory transactions, identify discrepancies and trends, perform root-cause analysis on variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain accuracy and optimize stock levels. Key responsibilities include generating reports and dashboards on inventory metrics, KPIs, and turnover; supporting cycle count programs and reconciling physical versus system inventory; maintaining data quality in ERP/WMS systems with full lot/serial and location traceability; and collaborating with operations, procurement, commissioning, and finance teams on inventory planning and material flow. You will identify and drive process improvements across receiving, storage, kitting, issuance, and staging workflows, while tracking high-value assets to support 24/7 operations. The role requires 4+ years of inventory analysis or control experience, with 1+ years of SQL proficiency. Preferred qualifications include 6+ years in warehouse, distribution, or high-volume operations; experience with Jira, ERP/WMS systems, and data visualization tools; advanced Excel skills; and background in data center, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace, or technology environments. You should be comfortable working on-site in warehouse and data center environments with varying temperatures and noise, and able to perform occasional lifting and movement as needed to validate data. xAI operates with a flat organizational structure emphasizing hands-on contribution, engineering excellence, and strong communication.
