Salary: USD 210,930 - 251,230 / annual
Roblox is seeking an International Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across its global international structure. This role will own the operational cadence and rhythms that keep international teams aligned, resourced, and delivering on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and establish internal operating cadences and reporting, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), regular review rhythms with local international teams, and cross-regional alignment
- Own work item prioritization, project planning, and resource allocation across cross-functional teams (Marketing, Communications, Trust & Safety, Business Development, Finance, Legal) to ensure local market initiatives are properly scoped and supported
- Oversee master project plans, timelines, and resource dependencies, driving accountability and keeping global deliverables on track
- Define and track core operational performance metrics and resource utilization, creating executive reporting for leadership
- Synthesize inputs from country teams and cross-functional partners into clear status updates, risks, and next steps
- Lead recurring operational cadences including regional check-ins, QBR preparation, scorecards, resource allocation, and annual/quarterly planning cycles
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Maintain and improve playbooks for repeatable workflows across local country teams worldwide
- Serve as the operational point of contact between country teams and headquarters partners for planning, execution, and issue triage
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed
- Flag execution risks early (dependencies, resourcing, approvals, timelines) and coordinate escalations to appropriate owners
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Trust & Safety to ensure required steps are followed for market initiatives
The position is hybrid, based in San Mateo, with in-office presence required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Reports to the Head of International Strategy & Operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in operations, program management, business operations, or cross-functional project coordination
- Experience supporting international or multi-region teams (a plus)
- Strong project management fundamentals including planning, tracking, risk management, and stakeholder updates
- Ability to drive clarity across multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize and simplify complex information
- Analytical and organized mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Familiarity with tools such as spreadsheets, dashboards, and project trackers (e.g., Airtable, Asana, Jira) is a plus
