Bumble Inc. is seeking an Integrity Operations Specialist to join the Trust Operations team. This role is central to Bumble's mission to create healthy and equitable relationships by supporting members through sensitive and challenging experiences.
You will investigate safety concerns, review accounts and content against Bumble's Community Guidelines, and provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to members who have experienced safety incidents. Working with complex and sensitive issues, you'll use established policies, operational guidance, sound judgment, and AI-supported tools to reach fair and consistent outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating member reports and proactive detections involving safety concerns such as harassment, threats, non-consensual imagery, and other Community Guidelines violations
- Providing thoughtful, high-touch, trauma-informed support to members who have experienced safety incidents
- Reviewing flagged accounts and content for potential safety violations, applying policies consistently while using sound judgment
- Managing sensitive and time-critical cases with attention to detail, taking ownership from initial review to resolution
- Collaborating with Trust & Safety, Customer Experience, Legal, and other partners to escalate and resolve complex cases
- Identifying recurring issues and patterns to improve workflows and strengthen operational consistency
- Using AI-supported tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, reviewing outputs critically for accuracy, bias, privacy, and fairness
- Participating in on-call rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the global community
You will report to the Senior Integrity Operations Manager and work closely with colleagues across multiple teams, demonstrating Bumble's values of Respect, Curiosity, and Excellence.
Please note: This position involves exposure to sensitive and graphic content, including vulgar, violent, and sexual content, as well as material relating to child exploitation, sexual or physical violence, suicide, and self-harm.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience (candidates with alternative backgrounds demonstrating equivalent skills are welcome)
- Experience in Trust & Safety, customer support, crisis response, content moderation, or similar environments handling sensitive or safety-related issues
- Comfort reviewing potentially distressing content while approaching the work with care and professionalism
- Clear and compassionate communication skills in writing and verbally, particularly when supporting vulnerable individuals
- Sound judgment within established policies and processes, balancing efficiency with careful, consistent decision-making
- Ability to collaborate purposefully with colleagues, take ownership of work, and maintain an agile mindset
- Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or another language in addition to English is welcomed but not required
