Salary: EUR 77,400 - 133,300 / annual
Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) powers the global infrastructure behind Microsoft's cloud platforms. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) team is seeking an Integrated Planning & Schedule Program Manager to deliver hyperscale datacenter programs worldwide.
In this role, you will develop, manage, and optimize Plan of Record (POR) schedules from early design through approval and deployment. You will act as a trusted planning expert, applying Critical Path Method (CPM) principles and risk-based insights to build high-quality, integrated schedules. Working across multiple regions and business units, you will validate sequencing and durations, drive schedule governance, and improve predictability through scenario modeling, schedule analytics, and acceleration planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting global planning initiatives that improve schedule quality, governance, and consistency across EPC Project Controls programs
- Serving as a subject matter expert in Primavera P6 EPPM and integrated master schedule best practices
- Developing Plan of Record and Integrated Master Schedules, validating durations, and strengthening schedule integration and portfolio performance analysis
- Working with the Reporting and Analytics Team to develop enhanced reporting solutions and translate complex schedule data into leadership insights
- Developing documentation supporting schedule assumptions, contributing to Schedule Risk Analysis, and leading change management for planning initiatives
- Presenting strategic insights and recommendations to Director-level stakeholders
- Building strong relationships across Project Controls and cross-functional teams
You will be based primarily in Dublin, with flexibility to work from Microsoft's approved EMEA hub locations including Milan, Amsterdam, or London. The role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 3 days per week with the option to work fully remote.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field, plus experience in program management, project controls, planning, or scheduling. You must have experience developing and managing complex, large-scale project schedules and managing hyperscale data center programs across multiple regions. Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 EPPM and Microsoft Excel is essential.
Preferred qualifications include strong communication and technical writing skills with experience presenting to senior leadership, experience developing and implementing processes and governance frameworks, ability to deliver training programs, and ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.
