Verkor is a French industrial company pioneering the manufacture of low-carbon batteries for electric vehicle mobility. Backed by leaders like Renault, Plastic Omnium, and Schneider Electric, the company is building an ultra-modern Gigafactory in Dunkerque capable of producing 16 GWh of lithium-ion batteries annually—equivalent to 300,000 electric vehicles. The company employs over 1,000 professionals from 49 countries. You will join the Quality team at the Bourbourg Gigafactory as a Technical Cleanliness Engineer, reporting to the Technical Cleanliness Manager. This role is essential to developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the strictest technical cleanliness standards across processes and environments. Key responsibilities include: conducting audits and supervising cleanroom validation and control activities in compliance with ISO 14644 and VDA 19 standards; evaluating results and implementing improvements on production lines; monitoring KPIs and defining action plans to meet objectives; writing procedures and participating in validation of technical cleanliness quality control methods; supporting training and awareness sessions on technical cleanliness across all factory zones; and contributing to contamination risk reduction solutions and problem-solving efforts. You bring a minimum bachelor's degree (bac+5) with at least 1 year of technical cleanliness experience or 2 years in quality engineering, preferably in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. You are fluent in both English and French (reading, speaking, writing). You possess deep knowledge of technical cleanliness processes, requirements, and standards including ISO 14644, ISO 16232, VDA 19.1, and VDA 19.2. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction and quality excellence are essential.
