Verkor is a French industrial company pioneering low-carbon battery manufacturing in Europe. Backed by major industrial partners including Renault, Plastic Omnium, and Schneider Electric, the company aims to electrify European mobility with a planned 16 GWh annual production capacity by 2025 at its Dunkerque Gigafactory.
You will join the Supplier Quality Performance team in Grenoble as a Supplier Quality Engineer, responsible for managing supplier performance throughout the product lifecycle. This role bridges technical, procurement, and quality functions to ensure Verkor's advanced manufacturing standards are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supplier selection during the sourcing phase, collaborating with technical and procurement teams to identify best-in-class partners
- Ensuring strict adherence to Verkor's APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) during project phases and supporting suppliers in integrating Verkor processes
- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) validation
- Analyzing supplier performance metrics during production, conducting non-conformity investigations, and challenging supplier quality management systems
- Conducting supplier audits as needed
- Monitoring quality performance and responsiveness throughout product lifecycle, including warranty phase
- Driving continuous improvement in supplier quality assurance across the organization

The role requires influencing cross-functional teams, managing priorities in a dynamic setting, and maintaining a problem-solving mindset. You'll contribute to building the world's most advanced battery manufacturing company.
Required qualifications: Master's degree (BAC+5) in quality and/or technical field with confirmed experience in Li-ion battery cell manufacturing and/or automotive. Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Strong English and French language skills. Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with strong organizational and customer-focused mindset.
