OLIX is building the next generation of AI infrastructure accelerators to address the massive compute and power gap created by AI's explosive growth. The company has developed the Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1), a rack-scale system architected specifically for decode workloads, combining logic, data movement, packaging, optics, and interconnect for step-change performance improvements.
As Infrastructure Manager, you will build and lead the team responsible for the internal platform that powers the entire organization. You own compute, storage, networking, and CI/CD systems used by hardware, software, ML, and compiler engineers to build, test, and collaborate. This is a high-ownership role with the freedom to define internal infrastructure, security standards, and technical operations from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership & Delivery: Direct the team in building provisioning automation, CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, network design, and observability systems.
- Operational & IT Oversight: Support engineers on complex build and connectivity issues while steering the broader IT function, including identity management, device fleets, and SaaS administration as the company scales.
- Security Posture: Champion a secure-by-default mindset across infrastructure, endpoints, and access management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering leaders, particularly compiler engineering teams, to ensure the platform remains coherent and efficient.
You will guide your team to transform slow, manual workflows into fast, reproducible, and secure systems while managing foundational IT operations during rapid growth.
Required experience includes proven team leadership managing infrastructure or DevOps teams; deep technical foundation in cloud computing, storage, and networking; expertise in CI/CD and build systems; strong understanding of infrastructure security and IAM; demonstrated IT operations oversight including device fleet management and SaaS administration; comfort building platforms from scratch in early-stage or scaling environments; and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
