Lumilens is building photonics infrastructure for AI supercomputing, focusing on faster, cooler, and more efficient computing systems. As an Industrial Engineer, you will oversee production line setup and layout, ensuring optimal workflow efficiency and capacity planning. Your responsibilities include streamlining manufacturing workflows, conducting time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies, and using CAD/AUTOCAD tools to design and optimize production layouts. You will apply ergonomic principles to improve workplace safety and comfort while driving productivity gains. The role involves regular analysis of production data to identify improvement opportunities, leading waste reduction initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. You will be responsible for determining and monitoring overall production capacity, managing resource allocation, and equipment utilization. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in production line setup, capacity planning, and resource management. Preferred experience includes semiconductor, optoelectronics, or volume engineering backgrounds. You should be proficient with CAD/AUTOCAD tools, have strong knowledge of ergonomic best practices in manufacturing environments, and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential for success in this role.
