Deliveroo is seeking an Implementation Manager to join the Express Integrations Team within the Technology organization. This hybrid role (3 days/week in London office) reports to a Senior Technical Integrations Manager and is responsible for managing end-to-end API technical integrations with restaurant and grocery partners, external technology providers, and internal business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Technical Integration Ownership: Manage complete API integration lifecycle from kickoff through testing, UAT, and production go-live. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee pre-kickoff preparations, project kickoffs, detailed planning with milestones, and all project communications. Create rollout plans, establish go-live criteria, define stage owners, track issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Lifecycle Management: Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies, provide escalation management, and ensure successful product adoption across key accounts.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as critical liaison between external partners and internal teams. Advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle, manage communication and changes, and ensure teams work toward aligned goals.
- Process Optimization: Learn from each launch to improve speed and efficiency. Identify improvement opportunities and drive execution of required changes across product, engineering, business, and POS teams.
- Partner Feedback: Analyze and aggregate partner feedback on products and liaise with Product Management to support prioritization.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in Technical Integrations Management, Technical Programme Management, or similar roles. Strong understanding of API integrations, technical SaaS configuration, and data troubleshooting. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. Excellent communication, organization, and project planning skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
