Bobyard uses AI to help contractors move from construction plans to competitive bids in minutes instead of weeks. The company is Series A-backed ($35M from 8VC, Primary, and Pear) with real customers running live jobs on the platform. As Implementation Manager, you own the critical first 45 days of every new customer's lifecycle—from contract signature through launch, training, and initial adoption. This is a newly created role built to systematize what was previously ad-hoc handoffs from sales to customer success. You'll be the single owner of a repeatable launch process, ensuring every customer reaches their first real adoption milestone and is fully prepared for CSM handoff. Key responsibilities include: creating scoped launch plans within 48 hours of signature; configuring accounts and running hands-on training for field-based crews; driving customers to their first completed workflow; running reinforcement sessions and office hours to prevent churn; escalating blockers to Customer Success and Product until resolved; documenting all goals, stakeholders, risks, and feedback for CSM continuity; and delivering formal handoffs with all exit criteria met. You'll need 2+ years of hands-on SaaS customer onboarding or implementation experience managing a real portfolio of accounts. You should be comfortable configuring software yourself without waiting on others, have personally run live training for non-technical or field-based users, and have a track record of hitting defined launch SLAs. Strong written communication is essential—your handoff documentation should eliminate the need for CSMs to re-ask questions. You'll manage 10+ concurrent launches while maintaining attention to detail. Nice-to-have skills include vertical SaaS or construction tech experience, familiarity with CRM or onboarding tools (Salesforce, Asana, Notion), experience building onboarding playbooks from scratch at early-stage companies, and bilingual capabilities (Spanish or other languages useful with field crews). A genuine interest in construction, trades, or real-world industries is important for this role.
