With 170+ employees across NYC and Santa Barbara, Avoca is building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement in a $1T+ market.
As Implementation Manager, you will own post-sales onboarding for customers, serving as a hybrid product expert, technical consultant, and project manager. You'll work directly with home service companies to ensure successful implementations that hit time-to-value targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end implementations from kickoff through go-live, managing project timelines, stakeholder communication, and client accountability
- Gather and document client business requirements, translating them into technical specifications that achieve customer goals
- Configure and iterate on AI prompting and workflows to optimize call handling quality, conversion rates, and revenue impact
- Partner with Product and Engineering to stay current on new features and build repeatable implementation playbooks
- Design and deliver tailored training on Avoca products to drive client proficiency and adoption
- Lead testing efforts including configuration QA, client testing coordination, and issue triage
- Provide go-live support by coordinating launch activities, monitoring production, and transitioning clients to post-launch teams
- Advocate for product improvements based on implementation client feedback
- Travel to client sites as needed for hands-on support
This is a highly cross-functional, client-facing role requiring close partnership with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams while managing multiple concurrent implementations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of B2B startup experience in software implementation, technical account management, solutions architecture, or technical customer success; OR 4+ years of overall relevant experience
- Demonstrated fluency with APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns; ability to read and discuss payloads, auth models, and error handling
- Experience configuring prompting, workflow logic, and system integrations in AI, SaaS, or enterprise software contexts
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent software delivery projects for B2B clients
- Clear communicator who can simplify complexity for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- Autonomous, self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity
- Proactive, collaborative, organized, and efficient
