Translucent is an agentic AI platform built exclusively for healthcare finance, founded in 2024 and backed by GV, NEA, FPV, and Virtue. The company is deployed across healthcare organizations managing over $5 billion in combined revenue, solving the critical problem of healthcare finance teams drowning in spreadsheets and manual data work.
You will be the founding Technical Implementation Lead for Physician Enterprise, a system of record for medical group performance, service-line economics, and physician compensation used by CFO/FP&A and Compensation teams. This is a new discipline at Translucent: you will hold the complete technical picture of this product across every enterprise account where it's deployed, rather than expertise being fragmented account-by-account.
You will partner with Account Owners who manage long-term client relationships, change management, and training. You own the technical implementation side: requirements gathering, scope definition, delivery planning, and quality assurance. You'll run the pod day-to-day, unblock Analytics and Insights Engineers, and serve as the final decision-maker on all technical work shipped. This is hands-on: you'll be in requirements sessions with client stakeholders, reviewing data models, and making technical calls yourself.
Key responsibilities include owning technical implementation across all enterprise accounts; leading requirements gathering with client stakeholders to translate provider productivity, labor cost, and physician compensation problems into technical scope; managing day-to-day pod activity and prioritization; partnering directly with Product and Product Engineering on net-new capability development; building and maintaining delivery plans with milestones and risk tracking; managing the transition from active build to steady-state ownership post-launch; and helping establish implementation playbooks and standards.
You must have 7+ years of combined experience in hands-on technical work (data/analytics engineering, solutions/implementation engineering) and direct ownership of client-facing technical delivery on complex, high-stakes implementations. Deep fluency in physician enterprise operations and healthcare finance is essential—you should be able to translate client problems around productivity, labor costs, service-line performance, and compensation into buildable technical scope. You need genuine technical fluency to read data models, evaluate integration approaches, and make final calls on technical quality without escalation. You should be comfortable leading through expertise and judgment rather than formal authority, operating as a pod lead with real decision-making power and no direct reports.
Nice-to-haves include prior experience as a technical lead for a single product line across multiple enterprise customers, experience directing or mentoring engineers, comfort presenting technical tradeoffs to senior client stakeholders (CFO/FP&A level), and familiarity with hospital/health system IT landscapes (EHR/Epic-adjacent workflows).
