Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform helping companies like Airbnb, FedEx, and Visa manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for regulatory reporting (CSRD), and drive decarbonization. The Implementation Lead will own end-to-end deployments for Watershed's largest and most complex strategic accounts, translating customer goals into clear execution plans and orchestrating cross-functional delivery. Key responsibilities include: running discovery and mapping implementation milestones; serving as the primary customer contact, building trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders; designing scalable, creative solutions that leverage existing product capabilities while identifying future needs; developing deep product expertise to guide customers on feasibility and trade-offs; conducting customer enablements on complex features; coordinating internal and external teams while managing dependencies and timeline changes; acting as the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams to surface patterns and feature requests; and building repeatable playbooks and tooling to accelerate and standardize implementations. Ideal candidates have 3–6+ years in management consulting, solutions engineering, or software implementation at B2B SaaS companies, with experience leading customers through complex programs. You should be a quick learner comfortable in high-volume environments, detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture, and a systems thinker who brings structure to ambiguous problems. Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, ability to juggle multiple workstreams, strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities, and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools are essential. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week in the New York office.
