PactFi is building secure, end-to-end operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. The platform serves the rapidly growing private asset markets (PE, Private Credit, VC, Real Estate), which are projected to grow from $9.8T to $17T in AUM over the next five years. Most of the market currently relies on error-prone, internal-only software solutions, creating significant opportunity for digital infrastructure modernization.
As an Implementation Engineer, you will drive technical execution across the complete client lifecycle, reporting to the Client Enablement Lead. This is a hands-on role combining client enablement, product adoption, software development, and technical support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directly managing Tier 1 client accounts through implementations, data migrations, API enablement, and ongoing support
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to develop and ship internal tooling and client-facing solutions independent of the product roadmap
- Owning technical troubleshooting and support for assigned accounts
- Maintaining visibility across product usage, client workflows, tech stacks, and system dependencies
You bring 3-5 years of experience in application engineering, data migrations, product analytics, or support engineering, ideally from consulting, professional services, FinTech, or enterprise SaaS backgrounds. You are proficient in AI-assisted development and debugging, APIs, and technical implementations. You have hands-on experience with vendor systems such as Pendo, Amazon Redshift, and Intercom. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating across technical and business stakeholders. Experience in private credit, financial infrastructure, or regulated financial products is a plus but not required.
The role is based in the New York office. Travel is not required, though optional in-person client engagement opportunities may arise.
