The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, uses cutting-edge AI to create 3D models of coronary arteries, helping clinicians assess blood flow impact and identify stenoses. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 500,000 patients worldwide.
As a Medical Imaging Analyst, you will create 3D computer models of coronary arteries from cardiac CT scans using HeartFlow's proprietary software and processes. These models visualize how narrowings and blockages impact blood flow and are used for fluid dynamic simulations sent to customers for patient outcome interpretation.
Key responsibilities include: interpreting CT imaging data per regulated processes to generate custom 3D models; performing in-process visual inspections and verifications on image data quality and models while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards; working in a highly regulated environment with full compliance to procedures and proper documentation; performing visual inspections under minimal supervision to determine conformance to work instructions and quality standards; consulting with team members on CT image interpretation and providing feedback; testing and providing feedback on new product versions and process updates; organizing tasks and working independently on multiple projects while meeting deadlines; and contributing to operations improvement projects.
The role requires proficiency with computers, MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite. Medical imaging technology experience is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in radiology, medical technicians, biological sciences, 3D animation, or CAD/visual inspection may qualify. You will receive training on HeartFlow's specific software tools and CT image visualization processes.
This is a full-time, hourly position with flexibility requirements: you must be based in Austin, TX and prepared to report to the office with limited notice if business needs or technical issues arise. The role requires availability for non-traditional hours, including some weekends and holidays.
