The Head of Workplace Services will own HappyRobot's end-to-end workplace strategy and operations as the company scales rapidly. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring leadership across real estate, facilities, and office operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting vision and building scalable processes for workplace operations
- Leading real estate strategy: lease negotiations, broker/vendor management, office build-outs and new location openings
- Managing workplace budgets and optimizing spend across real estate, operations, and vendors
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations including facilities, workplace experience, safety, and vendor relationships
- Building and managing a team of workplace and office leaders as the company expands geographically
- Partnering with People, Finance, IT, and executive leadership on space planning, headcount growth, and workplace policy
- Establishing systems, tools, and standards for precision office operations at scale
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience leading workplace, facilities, or real estate operations at a high-growth company
- Track record managing lease negotiations, vendor relationships, and office build-outs
- Strong people leadership skills with experience building and scaling teams
- Ability to move fluidly between long-term strategic planning and tactical execution
- Strong project and vendor management skills with attention to detail
- Bias toward action and willingness to solve problems directly
