Rohlik operates end-to-end logistics and fulfillment, from proprietary technology and automated distribution centers to last-mile delivery. The Automation department leads large-scale warehouse projects across the Group, enabling safe, high-performing operations across multiple European markets. As Head of Warehouse Projects, you will own the complete delivery execution of major capital expenditure implementation projects—from retrofits and goods-to-person (G2P) system integrations in legacy sites to full layout rollouts for new expansion sites across Europe. You are the single point of accountability for bringing approved designs to life. Starting with a signed-off operational layout, you will drive the entire program through site readiness, vendor management, budget control, and commissioning, delivering fully operational sites on time, on budget, and ready for local teams. Key responsibilities include: - End-to-end delivery of warehouse implementation projects (fit-outs, retrofits, new site layouts) from kickoff through commissioning, go-live, and operational handover - Program and schedule management: driving project plans, schedules, budgets, resourcing, and critical-path milestones with accountability for on-time delivery - Vendor and site governance: managing external contractors, equipment vendors, and integrators on-site to ensure quality standards and delivery commitments - Cross-functional integration: coordinating with Solution Design, Automation, Procurement, Facilities, and Operations to translate designs into built assets and resolve technical and scheduling conflicts - Risk management and escalation: identifying project dependencies and risks early, maintaining RACI matrices, and proactively resolving blockers - Testing and operational readiness: leading commissioning, testing, and operational sign-off with clear handover and troubleshooting protocols for local teams - Stakeholder reporting: providing structured project status, risk, and financial variance reporting to leadership The role offers direct hands-on delivery of large-scale CapEx projects involving advanced goods-to-person systems, conveyors, racking, and automated material handling. You will play a central role in scaling Rohlik's operational footprint across multiple European countries, with high organizational visibility and interface with leadership across multiple departments. Workplace: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Regular international travel across European site network required. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience leading large-scale CapEx delivery projects in warehouse automation, material handling, or industrial manufacturing - Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related technical field) - Technical literacy in automation: solid practical understanding of material handling systems, conveyors, racking, and goods-to-person (G2P / AS-RS) technologies - Proven delivery leadership with exceptional organizational skills and track record of running complex critical paths, project budgets, and multi-vendor environments - Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and direct external vendors - Hands-on, ownership mindset with proactive approach to anticipating risks and stepping into operational details - Willingness to travel regularly across European site network Nice-to-haves: - Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA Level C+, or equivalent) - Background in e-commerce, retail fulfillment, or high-throughput logistics automation - Familiarity with next-generation logistics robotics and emerging warehouse technologies
