Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, seeks a Head of Production for its Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) division. Based in McHenry, Mississippi, you will own all production activities and serve as the ultimate leader for this mission-critical business line.
You will architect, build, and scale manufacturing operations from New Product Introduction (NPI) to sustained high-rate production. Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end production lifecycle, overseeing strategic planning, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, day-to-day operations, and quality assurance. You'll drive the transition to high-volume manufacturing while ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
As Site Leader for McHenry, you will oversee all facility operations, resources, and strategic development. This includes ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards—particularly those related to energetics and explosive materials—and building strong relationships with local stakeholders and county officials.
You will lead facility expansion and development of new production sites, from planning and permitting through construction and operational readiness. You'll champion operational excellence by developing manufacturing processes and playbooks, driving adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies (PLM, ERP, MES, QMS), and establishing critical KPIs for quality, delivery, financial performance, and safety.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong physical presence on the production floor. You will manage significant production budgets, lead and mentor a high-performing team across multiple sites, and foster a culture of ownership and excellence in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
