Anduril Industries is seeking a Head of Operations for its Air Dominance & Strike Division, a business line developing next-generation collaborative combat aircraft, advanced effects, and autonomous weapons software. In this director-level role, you will own the complete operational scope of the division, partnering closely with the General Manager and functional leaders to build the operational engine that enables hypergrowth, IPO readiness, production at scale, and fielded system sustainment.
Key responsibilities include: owning all aspects of business operations and infrastructure to support business development, engineering, and production teams; serving as the GM's chief strategist to balance resource and execution risk against growth plans while monitoring financials toward profitability targets; translating growth signals into demand across staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production; establishing governance structures including business reviews, annual planning, and all-hands meetings; collaborating with division leadership on organizational evolution, hiring standards, and culture; and executing special projects, process improvements, and M&A efforts as needed.
You are a systems thinker who thrives solving complex, cross-functional problems with a people-centric approach. You bring high ownership and low ego, with strong outcome orientation and humility. You have built flexible operational infrastructure at high-growth companies and know when to rebuild from scratch. You possess deep experience scaling hardware production through fielding, with rigorous metrics monitoring and problem resolution. Your financial acumen spans unit economics, manufacturing finance, and P&L management. You are operationally rigorous with discipline, efficiency, and metrics-driven management. You have proven ability to evolve organizations, coach senior leaders, and make difficult talent decisions. You move fluidly between strategic (30,000 ft) and tactical levels, diving into details when necessary. US Top Secret clearance eligibility is required.
