ICEYE is seeking a Head of Logistics & Freight Forwarding to lead and scale the company's global logistics and trade compliance capabilities. In this director-level role reporting to the Global Director of Supply Chain & Logistics, you will own the strategy for secure, compliant, and efficient movement of satellites, components, and controlled technologies across multiple regions and sites worldwide.
Key responsibilities include developing ICEYE's global logistics and freight forwarding strategy, ensuring secure and cost-efficient transportation of sensitive aerospace hardware, leading trade compliance governance across EAR, ITAR, and EU frameworks, and managing relationships with logistics partners, customs brokers, and regulatory stakeholders. You will drive operational excellence and risk mitigation across complex international logistics operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in global logistics and freight forwarding within aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries. You must have deep knowledge of export control regulations (EAR, ITAR, EU frameworks) and proven leadership managing complex international logistics operations and cross-border projects. Hands-on expertise handling sensitive, high-value, or controlled technologies with strong risk management capabilities is essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with EU and Finnish customs procedures, background in satellite or aerospace logistics, and professional certifications in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance (AEO, APICS, Six Sigma).
