Owner is an AI-native platform helping local business owners (starting with restaurants) manage their operations—from websites and online ordering to CRM, POS, and more. The company has generated tens of millions in revenue since 2020, processed over a billion dollars in orders, and serves 20,000+ restaurant owners.
You will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive enablement function across Owner's Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams. This is a ground-up build at a high-growth company scaling rapidly with AI-powered product evolution.
Key responsibilities:
- Own enablement strategy across the full customer journey: sales methodology training, onboarding and ramp, ongoing skill development, and product adaptation.
- Design and deploy sales methodology training (discovery, pain quantification, multi-product selling) tailored to current business needs.
- Build scalable, AI-enabled systems for training and content delivery.
- Train frontline managers on coaching and management fundamentals; build systems for consistent methodology reinforcement.
- Establish measurement frameworks linking enablement work to business metrics: time to first call, ramp velocity, call quality, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact.
- Determine enablement org structure across inbound, outbound, launch, and success motions; build and develop the team.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and People leaders.
- Reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
You will be a player-coach: designing systems and strategy while also building and delivering training directly alongside your team.
Requirements:
- Track record building an enablement function or methodology from the ground up, ideally at a company that scaled from early-stage through high growth.
- Experience owning enablement across the full customer lifecycle (sales, onboarding, ongoing development, success/retention/expansion).
- Direct experience selling or enabling in SMB or high-velocity sales motions; understanding of how this differs from enterprise/procurement-driven selling.
- A framework or methodology you've built or trained teams on, with evidence of measurable improvements in seller performance.
- Comfort using AI tools to build scalable enablement systems.
- Pragmatic, business-first approach to enablement; ability to adapt rather than apply playbooks unchanged.
- Experience training and coaching frontline managers on management fundamentals.
- Builder's mindset and hands-on willingness.
