You will lead the Forward Deployed Product Management team, responsible for driving measurable customer outcomes and revenue lift. Forward Deployed PMs work embedded within customer accounts, identifying optimization opportunities across paid campaigns, merchandising, and dynamic personalized pages. They design and ship experiments with engineering, analyze results, and translate learnings into both customer wins and core product features.
As Head of FDPM, you'll own team leadership, customer outcomes, and strategic product direction. Key responsibilities include: hiring and coaching FDPMs to independently lead complex partnerships; establishing clear business objectives and KPIs for every engagement; setting standards for scoping, implementation, and validation; building executive trust with customer stakeholders; translating deployment patterns into actionable product recommendations; and creating scalable playbooks and AI-enabled workflows that improve team velocity. You'll maintain hands-on involvement—pressure-testing campaigns with your team, walking into customer C-suite meetings, and holding the team accountable for successful launches and demonstrated business impact.
This is a high-judgment role requiring both operational excellence and strategic thinking. You'll balance team development and customer delivery while reducing repetitive work through process and tooling so FDPMs can focus on decisions requiring their expertise.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience driving measurable growth for ecommerce or consumer brands (paid campaigns, merchandising, landing pages, conversion funnels). Must have done this work yourself.
- Experience managing and developing teams in forward deployed product, agent strategy, growth, technical product management, or related customer-facing technical functions.
- Track record delivering complex enterprise implementations from discovery through launch, adoption, and measurable impact.
- Strong product judgment; ability to prioritize competing customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Technical fluency to work with engineers on integrations, data flows, instrumentation, and implementation tradeoffs.
- Analytical depth to evaluate experiments, question data quality, and connect product performance to customer outcomes.
- Ability to build trust with executive sponsors, communicate difficult tradeoffs, and keep complex engagements moving.
- Experience building repeatable processes and managing teams against goals while maintaining high-standard customer-specific execution.
- Experience with AI products or agentic workflows is a strong plus.
