Rohlik is rebuilding its finance function around AI and automation. This new role owns the transformation of the finance operating model across the Group, taking a live programme of AI agents already in production—handling overdue payment chasing, invoice processing, cash allocation, and inbox management—and scaling it into the standard way finance operates.
You report directly to the Group CFO and inherit a small team with a live roadmap. You own what gets automated first, you build and ship with AI tools when that's the fastest path, and you hold every workstream accountable to measurable outcomes. The role is deliberately hands-on: you should be close enough to the work to build an agent or connect systems via API with AI assistance (though you are not a software developer), while also being senior enough to redesign how finance works and bring the broader business along.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the AI and automation strategy across finance, from conception through delivery to impact measurement
- Lead process redesign by mapping current state, then designing an agentic-first future rather than automating legacy steps
- Lead complex cross-functional programmes across Finance, Tech, and Operations, driving delivery through stakeholders beyond your direct line
- Bring the live programme to its targets with clear owners, baselines, and deadlines for every workstream
- Redesign core finance processes (close, reporting, forecasting) around AI and agents
- Build and ship yourself using AI-assisted tools to create agents and integrate systems like NetSuite, Rossum, and n8n
- Lead and grow the team (currently three people) and raise AI fluency across finance and the shared services centre
- Track and report what matters: automation rate, close time, cash allocation speed, cost and effort removed
- Roll out across five markets, balancing local needs against one Group standard

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Track record of leading transformation or automation programmes that delivered results; consulting, operations, or generalist operator background all fit
- Strong understanding of finance processes, ideally from finance transformation, operating model redesign, or automation programmes
- Hands-on with AI: can build agents and integrate APIs with AI assistance; not a software engineer but comfortable with the tooling
- Ability to set baselines, name owners, hit deadlines, and flag slips early
- Can lead a small team while still doing hands-on work yourself
- Prioritise by impact and move fast; prefer done over perfect
- Can bring finance, tech, and operations teams along with you
- Fluent in English; Czech is an advantage but not required
