Nimble operates a global browser and proxy fleet, web-scale data pipelines, and an API platform that customers build their businesses on. Infrastructure is core to the product, not a support function.
You will lead the DevOps organization as Director, setting strategy for cloud infrastructure, security, and delivery lifecycle. The team already has a leader managing day-to-day operations; you operate one level up, owning the roadmap, making architecture and build-vs-buy decisions with authority, and representing infrastructure at the leadership table.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting direction and strategy for cloud, security, and delivery infrastructure
- Owning the infrastructure roadmap and technical architecture decisions
- Leading the DevOps team and fostering a high-performing organization
- Representing infrastructure priorities and needs at the executive level
- Evaluating and deciding on build-vs-buy for infrastructure components
- Bringing AI and automation into infrastructure operations and monitoring
- Ensuring security, reliability, and scalability of the global infrastructure
You will be close enough to the technical work to guide it in depth while senior enough to own strategy and execution end-to-end. This is a director-level leadership role with real scope and authority, not an individual contributor stretch assignment.
