Vector is a contact-based advertising platform for B2B marketers, backed by Y Combinator, SignalFire, and HubSpot Ventures. The company helps marketing, demand gen, growth, and RevOps teams turn anonymous site and ad traffic into named, verified contacts, then build always-on ad audiences to map ad spend to real pipeline.
You will build and lead Vector's Customer Success function from the ground up, owning the entire post-sale customer journey from onboarding through expansion and advocacy. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic partnership and operational builder mentality.
Key responsibilities include: owning the customer lifecycle (onboarding, adoption, renewals, expansion); building the CS operating model from scratch (segmentation, engagement cadence, playbooks, systems); developing trusted relationships with senior marketing and RevOps stakeholders; accelerating time to value by getting customers to meaningful usage and connecting product use to measurable results; building proactive account plans and renewal/expansion strategy; defining customer health indicators and running executive business reviews; translating customer feedback into product and go-to-market input; and hiring and coaching a high-performing CS team as the company scales.
You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations. The role emphasizes outcomes over activity—measuring verified contacts, match rates, activation effectiveness, reduced waste, and pipeline impact rather than vanity metrics.
Required: 8+ years in Customer Success, account management, or customer-facing B2B SaaS roles, including experience building or leading CS at early- or growth-stage companies. Track record improving retention, adoption, expansion, and satisfaction. Comfort as a player-coach managing strategic accounts while building the broader function. Strong grounding in B2B marketing, demand gen, digital advertising, ABM, or RevOps. Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear workflows and business value for senior stakeholders. Commercial sharpness with renewals and expansion, analytical mindset, and comfort using account and product data to guide decisions. Clear communication and ability to build structure quickly through ambiguity.
